A SHORT POEM

Far away lands so far from the eye
Suffer the malice, just curl up and die
Yes Serbia, had bloddy enuffia, Kos av' gotta go now
UN done by your policies, your envoys your victories
What is the name of your land?

SECRET LONDON SOCIETIES REVEALED

Part 2: Soul Sellers aka Chariots of Roomed Cartons.

Only to be found in remote, isolated side streets in or around Zones 1 and 2 of the central hub, i.e. Grey Eagle Street. Incredible ability to change the form of objects, matter, mass enclosed within boxes, often milk cartons in split seconds, according to Schroedinger's Cat theorum. Located in 2/4 seater cars/carriages in clusters of two. Often of north-western origin, prey on the naive and well-funded.

PODCASTING

For the less musical and ICT talented amongst us I have found a really easy way to create a podcast: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/. I am going to use this with my boys tomorrow to produce a podcast about the Black Death in the Middle Ages (phew, hold me back the excitement is killing me). If you want to die laughing you can always check out my attempt here (scroll down to black death podcast). Anyone that can name the track I am MCing over will get a free copy of the podcast for posterity. Now don't all rush at once.

£2 RECORD BOX

Browsing through the Cheshire Street Sunday Market in East London last weekend, I spotted a box of seven inch singles, and of course began digging. There were quite a few gems so I asked the price - 20p each. However, this was immediately dropped to £2 for the whole box, which I happily accepted. Here's a quick mix through some of these great condition 7 inch singles, dancefloor killers all. Made my week.

ODD

Isn't it odd how people seem to attract certain things and situations? Among the things I seem to attract are:

  • Cowboy hats and hats of all kinds, but particularly cowboy ones.
  • Dust.
  • Holey socks.
  • Getting thrown out of nightclubs and bars for no reason...

FASHION

  1. The prevailing style or custom, as in dress or behavior: out of fashion.
  2. Something, such as a garment, that is in the current mode: a swimsuit that is the latest fashion.
  3. The style characteristic of the social elite: a man of fashion.

I didn't realise how much thought goes into this until the last night when I had the pleasure of attending a focus group geared towards determining microcosmic nuances in fashion for sports brand UMBRO.
