Days go by and we're inching ever closer to dry month of May when smoking will officially be banned in all public spaces in the great City of Montreal, one of the last bastions of the North American "joy de vivre". Yes, the moralizing barbarians are the gates, and soon red meat and wine will be off the list!
A great victory for waitresses and barmen everywhere who will now be fully responsible for their lung cancers. A great loss for nightclubs and bar tabs everywhere, as pot smokers will no longer have a cover on the dance floors and beers will sit alone, no longer the faithfull sidekicks of Tobacco Tobys everywhere...
Luckily, Booze being an essential agent in human reproduction, it will never be banned anywhere, no matter how many people it kills directly or indirectly... I just don't know if I can live in a world of booze without tobacco...
