Do Gooders Presents would like to invite you to a weekend charity event in support of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees, opening on the 27th July. This exhibition marks the first event for Do-Gooders Presents, a charitable organisation setup by recent MA Contemporary Art graduates Charlotte Perman and Katharine Barthelme. Do Gooders Presents hopes to become a regular event within the community, focusing on selected charities with particular relevance to our time. This exhibition will be held at at Paradise Row and is in aid of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees- an extremely wide reaching cause which supports the millions of displaced people throughout the world.
The weekend will involve a group exhibition featuring British and international artists including Douglas White, David Birkin, Nick Berkeley, Louise Ingalls Sturges, Mario Testino, David Bailey, Martin Creed, Sam Irons and Wolfe Lenkiewicz. The private view will commence with live musical performances by Naked and The Boys, Gwill Golden from The Golden Silvers and Nat Jenkins.
This event is open to everyone. All proceeds will be donated to the UNHCR. Donations welcome.
