To call Namibia remote would be an understatement. I met Joesph, he told me I was old because I was 36. Two of his brothers died in the liberation wars.
I still have sweaty palms from last Friday. A friend told me I may have a liver problem; I just feel sleazy.

it's kinda cool reading your own blog sitting in the middle of the bush.

Youcancallmesir is currently in Africa, on what I believe is a fairly long trip (a month?)
He is sending me his travel writings by text, and I'm posting them here, using his account.
Not exactly sure why the texting, as he's clearly got himself to an internet connection, but I think he wanted to write within certain self-imposed constraint.
Also mobile phones do take precidence over the internet in Africa, so it's quite appropriate really.
