Peel of 1 orange, 4 sticks of cinnamon, 12 whole cloves. 6 lumps of sugar, 1/2 cup of brandy or Cognac, 4 cups of freshly brewed coffee, lots of ice.
Place thinly sliced orange peel in a silver bowl; add smashed cinnamon, broken cloves and sugar. Pour booze over these ingredients, ignite it and ladle it until sugar is dissolved. Add coffee, then ice; pour it into a pretty jug and drink when you can.

A strange girl from Stuttgart offered me a room to stay in; I'm waiting for the night bus after a dire party. I have to wait again, but at least I lost the conversation. No cigarettes left. The bus comes; I get on and get off again. I'd rather walk. It wasn't the one I wanted. The rain starts and stops. Why do I feel upset when I speak to her? I rang the wrong girl.
