Junko is in the back ground of Peoples's court, and BET road shows. Also, she is doing a lot of stand-up to fix her speach these days. She is getting better to speak English. And she just recorded other two songs, so it will be out soon!

Junko send me e-mail and told me what the Japanese parts said! If people want to know, here it is.
>>>"(If) I can forget everything, (then) I want to forget everything. (If) it is the result of my choices, (then) it is what it is (I had to deal about it because that I choose.). The view in front of me is messed up and gross (it is sick). (I want to) give up, but (I can not) leave (too late). (I) need help, but nobody give me hands in this case ( and I knew they can not help). Damnit!, I want do something! (I am supposed to be dead by now) kill (me). Stupid! (why I am still here)"<<< >>>The girl wanted to be like a 'Flower', and she wanted to keep it the way it is. She could not do it for her life, so she did for the 'Flower,' which she saw. -By Junko<<<

Cool! Now, I understand what the song "Flower" all about. I enjoy "Flower." I like Junko's ideas for the song. And her voices catch my heart right away even I don't understand Japanese. I am looking forward to listen next songs. "She is A Good Entertainer!" I hope Junko is one of 'BIG' artist soon, so I can buy her CD.

I asked Junko how was recording for "Flower." She wrote back to me.
*The person who recorded my voice want to me to do improvisation, which I like. But I only listened the song one time, and we recored "Flower" right after in 10 minutes. He just told me that 'Speak whatever it sounds like this song to you.' Well, it came out like this.*

A couple of Junko's songs were frustrating just because I don’t understand Japanese. “Flowers” was particularly so because I got the second movement (the English stuff) where the little girl finds the willow down by the river, and it’s the only thing that will make her beautiful (or feel beautiful) and there’s also the most beautiful woman, the only thing as beautiful as the flower. And at first the little girl doesn’t want to pick the flower, it’s too beautiful, but then she’s overwhelmed to be as beautiful as the woman and she “messed up everything” and still in the end she couldn’t have the flower for herself. She wanted to pick it but she couldn’t. I love the ambiguous story JUNKO tell of the little girl and the flower and the woman, but I really want to know what happens in the first part: is it part of the same story, or does it tell a tale of its own? Does it shed anymore light on the little girl’s fate?

I love it when the girl in the song dosen’t get all the answers laid out before her, I love when a story’s left open for interpretation, and the answers are all insinuating, and she don’t know for sure what to make of every bit.

For the little Girl; "Damn! I really want to know what the first half is about. You get pretty emotional in couple of parts, right before the English part: you get really upset: I want to know what’s so upsetting for you, what’s so upsetting about that part of the story."

>>>English Parts of "FLOWERS" By JUNKO

Once upon a time
There is a little girl walking by the river
She found a little flower
The was the gorgeous flower I ever have .. so…

If I take the flower, I have one.. Right now…

But, I leave it alone I do not know why
I usually take, but I could not pick it up
(It was) Just so pretty! Then, All I know
That was the gorgeous moment

But, You know what I did, what I have done
I just messed up everything like you (do)

I don’t need this peace, (and)
I don’t need this moment
I just wanted to do worse,
Destroy!

Only I wanted was pick up the Flower
So I can be pretty!

I read Junko's response to someone above translating her own work, but if I may, I'd like to give you my take on it:

Even if I can't forget any of it,
I want to forget it all.
I think, " If this is my decision, (it's been made)
it can't be helped, there's no other way."
And right in front of my eyes I see all the signs
I get dramatic (lit. I go on exaggerations), changing my feelings
I want to give up, but
This can't be run away from.
I wonder if I should get out of here already (euphamistic: die? kill myself?)...
Although I want help
at this time I'm talking about, things are obscured in darkness
Nobody will give me a hand
I've been cut down
I want to do SOMETHING!
kousei*
You Bastards!

* This work kousei has a lot of meanings, which I think is what makes it cool. It could be justice, or a fixed star, or starting life anew...depends on how you read it.
