So long as you don't vote for the Tories or that other fascist George Galloway it doesn't matter really.

that man galloway is a cunt of the highest order, i had the misfortune of catching a glimpse of him rolling down commercial road in a mercedes chewing on an oversized cigar. sadly my zealous beratings seemed to slide off the polished surface of his vehicle like water off the the proverbial mostachioed ducks back. Rest assurred he shall be humiliated when the fives clash.
I shall be creating my own box on the ballot paper and placing a kiss next to johnny southside's name.

In case you were wondering what all this is about, George Galloway is the RESPECT candidate for the constituency of Bethnal Green & Bow in the upcoming British (not English Mr. Reakes!) general election: Respect Watch - "An independent source of information for voters about the RESPECT party and its candidates in the 2005 General Election". It may be independent, but it's pretty anti. I'm down with that.

British my ass, I thought Scottland was seperate now, and Wales is a great place to go on holiday, and the Irish, aren't they lovely, I love Ireland. What is this election for anyway?

The upcoming general election (May 4th?) is for the Parliment of the United Kingdoms of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (Britain or U.K. for short).
Funnily enough, the Welsh, Scots & Northern Irish actually *do* get their own elections, to their own parliments (for what they're worth). But there's no English parliment or English elections. Or some I'm told. What were we talking about again?
